See Goal Status at a Glance:
● The main view of Persistence is the goal list making it simple to interact with each goal.
● On this list Persistence informs you when you are on and off target, and helps create a desire to complete all your goals for the day and to get ahead for tomorrow.
● Make progress to get rid of the red (off target) and blue (normal daily effort) vertical bars and stay on target.
● Sort the list by title, target, last entered progress date, by hand, or group into categories.
Easy goal progress entry:
● Tap the goal from the main view and record your progress amount, notes, and time. Or make a quick amount update right from the list.
● Make multiple entries per day.
● Its easy to go back and update values or add notes later.
Different Types of Goal Tracking:
● For some goals, you have an end target number (like reading a book) and date by when you want to accomplish the goal.
● For some goals, you just want to do a daily amount (and there is no end date)
● For some goals, you just want to track daily progress, but you have no daily goal amount to reach.
● For all goals, enter your progress during the day and Persistence will show you how far youve come and how much you still need to do to be on target (if the target is applicable).
Journal Your Progress:
● Enter notes each time you make progress to journal your daily activities for review later.
● Review a daily log of all activities, or view a log for an individual goal.
Track All Your Goal Activities:
● You can use Persistence to track many different types of goals and habits. Some examples are:
▪ exercising
▪ practicing a musical instrument
▪ learning a foreign language
▪ meditating
▪ writing in your journal
▪ doing homework
▪ walking the dog
Edit or Change Progress Entries:
● Made a mistake on an amount, or need to change the date the progress was done? No problem. Persistence gives you a complete historical list of every entry ever made and allows them to be changed and/or deleted.
Statistical Page with Bar Graphs:
● Persistence can break down your stats in numerous ways and shows you a bar chart of daily or weekly progress.
Reminders:
● Set local reminder notifications to be reminded at a certain time that more work needs to be done towards a goal.
Badge Icon:
● Persistence shows a badge notification number that shows how many goals and habits have remaining work to accomplish.
User Guide:
● Detailed user guide that covers every aspect of the application.

Pros and cons of Persistence - Goal Tracker app for iPhone and iPad
Persistence - Goal Tracker app good for
I wish we could do milestones but other than that I like the look of it and how it shows you your averages.
I love this app. It is very useful for tracking personal goals and progress made by Kids. Thanks !!
Super awesome app for tracking hours spent on a goal. It shows the percentage to completion but also how many days you are behind (or ahead) of the goal.
I like that you can enter in how much you did rather than just checking off a box that it has been completed like so many other apps.
This is a wonderful app for tracking goals. However I wish it had iCloud interface between my devices. Its a pain to have to update between the iPad and iPhone (first world problems I know) I also wish it had a countdown goal option. There are some things I only do once a month. Itd be nice to have it reset the goal every 30/31 days instead of either making it a lifetime goal or having a percentage not done each day till it gets completed.
Otherwise like I said. Wonderful app :)
In the many, many productivity apps I have tried, nothing even compares to the capabilities of this app. It has all the features I need to track any goal. Definitely worth it!
Ive been using this app for the last few weeks and am finding that it literally works for any goal you throw at it.
It is packed with features, but it can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. Personally, I keep it simple. And it works.
The goal is to stick to the goal, right? Well, this app definitely allows for that.
Here are a couple reasons why.
Perhaps the most fundamental feature (that other apps of this sort are missing) is the ability to log retrospectively. Say, for instance, I had completed my daily reading yesterday but forgot to log it into Persistence. Thats no problem—the app actually allows me to enter the numbers and details for yesterday. That way, the charts and statistics arent thrown off, and Im not totally tied down to logging the right info at the right time.
The other reason relates to one of my primary characteristics of being human: Im not perfect. The reality of life is that we fail from time to time. Persistence is like a coach that tells me how to catch up when that happens. It shows me an accurate representation of what it takes to bring myself back up to speed. And the more I wait, the more I see those figures grow. Thus, Im all the more inclined to either get back on track or get rid of the app.
Well, I still have the app. Need I say more? Works for me.
Some bad moments
Persistence is without a doubt the best of the goal tracking apps I have tried. There are multiple ways to analyze data and monitor progress but despite all the features, the app interface remains uncluttered and makes it easy to make/edit entries. There are several different ways to filter the order in which goals appear (title, target, date) which is helpful. The only thing I can think of that would make it even better would be the ability to either sort by color label or categorize goals into different types (i.e. Work/Personal/Health categories) to further filter rather than looking at one large list.
If youve ever need a reminder for those little action steps to build up to one awesome habit. This is it.
Love this app! Ive used it for keeping track of practicing music and doing exercises. I like the fact that it rolls over to the next day so you can see how you are doing for the whole week or longer.
Its great if you have procrastination woes, easy to use and to the point.
Very potential app. Could be better with real time sync feature.
I use this app every single day, multiple times per day. Its really helped me remember to keep up with my goals and stay motivated. The only thing I would like as an added feature would be the ability to categorize your goals so that you dont have to look at them all in one list.
